Tutoring Packages and Options

Each tutoring session is one hour long and is personalized and customized to meet the individual needs of elementary students in reading and/or math. Every session includes an after-session debriefing, delivered personally or via email or text, to keep you informed of progress and next steps.

Rates and Policies

Here at BrushUp Tutoring, I believe in providing transparent and fair rates for my personalized tutoring services. Please review my rates and policies below to understand the investment in your child's academic growth.

Discounts are offered to promote consistency and steady academic growth.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

To ensure fairness and efficiency, please adhere to the following policies:

24-Hour Notice Required: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid being charged.

One-Time Grace: Each family may use one free or half-price short-notice cancellation per year.

Multiple Cancellations: Repeated short-notice cancellations may lead to loss of your reserved time slot.

If I Need to Reschedule: I’ll notify you as soon as possible and offer a convenient make-up time.

Additional Policies

  1. Student Conduct Policy
    • Participate actively and respectfully
    • Use kind and appropriate language
    • Avoid distractions during virtual sessions (no toys, food, or devices unless relevant)

    If persistent behavior disrupts learning, I will contact the parent/guardian to discuss a plan for moving forward.

  2. Communication Policy

    I welcome open communication and value your involvement in your child’s learning. Please:

    • Use email or text for scheduling, questions, or updates
    • Notify me of any changes to your child’s needs, school concerns, or goals

    For urgent matters (like last-minute cancellations), a text is best.

  3. Payment Policy

    Payments are due immediately before or after each session. If you prefer, you may pay at the beginning of each month. I accept Venmo, Zelle, check, or cash.

    Late payments may result in paused sessions until the balance is settled.
